Welcome, pet lovers, to the digital edition of Pet Companions Magazine!  With this website, we plan to bring you, our readers, all of the interesting stories, quality information and entertaining features you’ve come to expect in our monthly print editions, all via cyberspace. 
    This site will feature many of the great elements we present every month, including some articles, product reviews, a list of rescues and shelters, a comprehensive events list, a pet photo album contributed by our readers and much more, all covering the pet community in Maryland, Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania.
    Started in October 2007, Pet Companions Magazine is a labor of love for us.  We saw a need for comprehensive information for this area and are actively trying to fill it.  And, as well as offering this site and magazines distributed freely at over 300 locations in the region, we want this enterprise to give back to the community. 
    We try to support all of the great work done by the many organizations in the region, and to that end, we even donate the key location of the back cover of each print edition to a different rescue organization every month. 
    This site will help us further those aims and, with your help, we can make this website a prime stop for information on the pet community of the area.  We are openly asking for any contributions that can help, from events listings and shelter information to photos and stories of your favorite pets to present here.
    So, feel free to scroll through the various pages we offer here, and check back often.  There will always be new information or features added regularly.  And don’t forget to look for the new editions of Pet Companions Magazine the first week of every month at your favorite pet store, vet’s office, grooming establishment or any of a number of other places we distribute.
